If you have landed here, it is likely that you have decided to start a blog. Starting a blog can be a daunting task. There are so many different resources and many do not give the full picture or are trying to sell you a course. When I started blogging just over 3 years ago, I did not know anything about WordPress, site hosting or even affiliate links. Over time, I taught myself through a series of Google searches and some trial and error. I consistently wished for a resource that would walk me through the process and help me make decisions about which services to use. The site is divided into 3 sections: Build, Earn and Grow. Build will teach you the simple mechanics of a blog and walk you through what you need to do to get your site going. Earn will teach you about how blogs make money through advertising, sponsorship and affiliate links. Grow will show you ways you can grow your blog to reach more people and (hopefully) earn an income blogging. Along the way, you will have access to our Facebook Group Called Blog Like a Mom. The Blog Like a Mom Community is made up with moms like you at various stages in their blogging journey. Many are just starting out, while others have more experience. It is not a place to simply spam your posts or participate in follow for follows, but rather a supportive community where you can ask questions, see advice from other bloggers and organically grow your following. Unlike many other groups, the community is not meant to be competitive. It is built on the basis that as the tide rises, so does everyone floating in the water. I welcome you to pop over, request to join and introduce yourself!
Now down to the nitty gritty. How you start a blog?
